Vancouver International Airport LED Video Wall Installation

Trade Sync recently completed the installation of a 50-foot LED display wall and additional digital displays at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) in partnership with PATTISON Outdoor. The installation was delivered in collaboration with Media Resources Inc. (MRI), bringing a large-format digital advertising feature to one of Canada’s busiest transportation hubs. Located within the airport’s interior advertising network, the new display provides a high-impact digital canvas designed to capture the attention of travelers moving through the terminal.

Large-Format Digital Advertising at YVR

The centerpiece of the installation is a 50-foot LED video wall built using Media Resources’ TruVIEW™ LED cabinets with a 1.5mm pixel pitch. This fine pixel pitch delivers exceptional image clarity and color performance, making it ideal for close viewing distances in high-traffic indoor environments such as airport terminals. The display is designed to support dynamic digital advertising campaigns, allowing brands to engage passengers with bright, high-resolution content in a premium travel setting.

Custom Engineered Mounting System

To support the installation, Trade Sync engineered and designed a custom mounting system tailored specifically for the LED display structure and surrounding environment.

The mounting system allowed the team to execute a precise and efficient installation, ensuring proper structural support while maintaining the clean presentation expected within an airport environment. By designing the mounting solution in advance, the installation process was streamlined and completed with minimal disruption to the active terminal space.

Collaborative Deployment

This project was delivered through close collaboration between Trade Sync, Media Resources Inc., and PATTISON Outdoor. While Trade Sync handled the installation and structural mounting system, MRI supplied the TruVIEW™ LED display technology and worked alongside the installation team throughout the deployment process. MRI also completed the system commissioning and provided operational training to ensure the display was fully optimized for ongoing use. The collaborative approach ensured a smooth deployment and a high-quality final result for the client.
