The City of Toronto wants its tourist to be able to locate maps and information about the city at key tourist stops. Through Astral Media the city has used the InfoToGo pillars as its main communication method at key tourist location; however these pillars are becoming out of date for Toronto streets. During the fall of 2010, Trade Sync removed 15 InfoToGo pillars for Astral Media. The heavy-duty pillars located in high traffic and tourist areas required night removal. A crane and flat bed were used for each removal ensuring that the structure of the pillar remained and could be updated with new technology and used again if required.
